Actions & Asset Cards

Actions (Tasks, Prompts, Workflows, Agents, Assistants, Automations, Guardrails, Integrations and Tools) and Assets (Documents, Files, Images, Video, Knowledge, Text Responses, Conversation Histories and Structured Data) are referred to as Cards in the Zaon AI platform.  They can be combined in any combination into Hands and Playbooks and executed as Sessions.

Agents

Agents are the empowered managers of assistants, tools, automations, and are responsible for reporting to humans and validating the work of assistants. 

All assistants report to specific agents and are monitored for their work assignments and product output.

Assistants

Assistants perform jobs and tasks on behalf of agents and humans.  Assistants can trigger automations and integrations such as responding on Slack, or reading and replying to emails among a near-limitless set of possible integrations.

Assistants can run on any LLMs or specialized models that are enabled.

Automations

Automations can be created to invoke integrations based on any set of triggers, rules and conditions.  Pre-defined automations can be downloaded from the marketplace as well.

Automations can include actions like generating a weekly report and sending it out to a recipient group in the corporate email system, or streaming data into or out of customer LOB applications and data stores.

Data Unification

As disparate AI solutions are used by an enterprise, multiple sources of truth are created in different locations and accounts.  Zaon AI collects all of the assets and actions from those platforms and combines them into a singe source-of-truth database.

Documents & Files

Documents and files can be uploaded, analyzed, integrated and automated.  Assistants can be granted access to documents in order to review, revise, or create new iterations from with new or more relevant data.  As documents and files are dynamically created by assistants or models, these are stored and can be moved to enterprise file shares, attached to emails, shared in Slack, or uploaded to cloud-based storage locations automatically.

Enterprise Hosting

The Zaon AI platform can be hosted in private cloud accounts or enterprise on-premise data-centers.  TerraForm scripts are provided for deployment and administrative tools and applications are provided for operation and monitoring.  Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure, and Google Cloud are supported.  (Oracle Cloud is coming soon...)

Human Verification

All content and data generated from models connected to the Zaon AI platform can be configured to require human verification.

These approval chains are designed to fit within existing enterprise workflows.

Integrations

Zaon AI is designed for extensibility.  Integrations can be custom created in any programming language and hosted on-prem or in any cloud.  They can be serverless or running on Kubernetes or a variety of other compute platforms.  Integrations are designed to stream data into and out of the platform. 

Simple integrations include email, Slack, directories, data lakes, and analytics however just about any need can be solved with a custom integration.  Integrations can also be installed from the Zaon Marketplace and adapted.

Knowledgebases

Keeping knowledge from getting lost in an enterprise as prompts and workflows move in and out of AI solutions is a cornerstone of the Zaon AI platform.  Zaon AI categorizes entities into Actions and Assets. 

Our built-in knowledgebases provide an automated solution for content that is generated by both humans and AI.  These knowledge entities are a first-class citizen within the Zaon AI platform. 

The knowledgebases can also be synchronized and exported to existing enterprise knowledge solutions as well as being scanned for knowledge that allows AI models to fine-tune their responses on existing company data.

Marketplace

Zaon offers a community-driven gallery of content and integrations that can be installed within the Zaon AI platform.  Many of these are free-to-use however we support the value of our community of developers as well for monetization. 

Agents, Assistants, Automations, Documents, Files, Guardrails, Integrations, Knowledge, Media, Packages, Playbooks, LLM Plugins, Prompts, Structured Data and Workflows are all supported in the marketplace.

Zaon Labs supports several open-source initiatives.  We open-source many of our LLM plugins, integrations, and front-end user experiences to better support our community of developers and to improve the overall extensibility of the platform.

Agentic Workflows

The core of Zaon AI includes the simplification of complex workflows by combinations of assistants, agents, automations and humans. 

Humans and Agents can dynamically create and modify multi-agentic workflows, handle branching and conditions with ease, and combine & revise a chain of responses.

Analytics

Zaon AI collects statistics from many different LLMs and customer models as well as all usage metrics from the platform itself.  These are combined and provided in dashboards and are able to be streamed to data lakes and data analytics platforms.

With these analytics, it becomes crystal clear how an enterprise is utilizing AI and to what level of productivity.

Audit Control

Administrators can view and export access and usage audit logs for all employees as well as autonomous actions by agents and assistants when interacting with different AIs.

Additionally, alerts and rules can be crafted to block or notify based on specific conditions.

Cross-Cloud Sync

The Zaon AI platform can synchronize actions and assets between different cloud and on-prem AI platforms.  For example, if an employee creates an assistant or prompt in Google Gemini, that same assistant or prompt will appear in Azure AI and Amazon Bedrock as well as within the Zaon AI source-of-truth database where notificaitons, rules, policies, and audit are applied.

Developer Extensions

Zaon AI is 100% API-driven with a rich developer portal experience and SDKs provided in many programming languages.  This allows developers to quickly create custom integrations with LOB software and existing SaaS  and/or on-prem solutions.  Enterprises can also create secure LLM and specialized model access via custom plugins.

Embedded Experiences

Our DoEasy.ai SaaS solution is an example of building experiences around the Zaon APIs.  All of the feature of the platform can be easily incorporated via APIs into existing enterprise solutions.

Guardrails & Policies

Enterprises can configure and deploy advanced corporate policies and guardrails to help ensure the safety and compliance of all AI usage with in the company.  These guardrail systems sit over Amazon Bedrock Guardrails or Azure AI Content Safety with more choices coming in the future.

Inference Engines

Zaon AI comes with support for Groq, Amazon Bedrock, Azure AI, Google AI, and OpenAI out-of-the-box.  More are coming in the future. 

Since Zaon AI sits as a value-add above models and inference engines, connectors can be created or downloaded from the Zaon Marketplace as the landscape of AI evolves over time. 

The enterprise owns the source-of-truth database for AI usage regardless of which models, inference engines and AI solutions are used.

Intents

Getting employees up and productive with AI solutions is made faster with Intents.  These are AI-based rules that help route requests to the right solution.  They are created for specific industry verticals and enterprise disciplines.  For example, an HR department in a healthcare enterprise will have specific intents that guide requests faster and more reliably to the desired outcomes from the most appropriate AI models.

LLM & Model Plugins

Connections to more than 30 LLMs and foundational models are provided with Zaon AI. 

Enterprises can pick and choose which models to enable and expose to different groups of their employee directory.  More models are being added weekly to the list of supported LLM integrations. 

Enterprises can also easily support their own private language models within the platform via the LLM Plugin Developer Experience.

Media & Digital Assets

Textual content, files, data and knowledge aren't the only entities that are supported in the Zaon AI platform.

Images, Audio and Video are also supported.  This media can be uploaded to be analyzed or modified by LLMs and it can also be generated by specific LLM solutions and stored/downloaded back to the enterprise just as files and documents can.

Packages

Packages are bundles of assets and actions that are aligned to industry verticals and organizational departments. 

They allow enterprises to quickly align content and capability to their business and organization needs.
